Description
The recently opened Etihad Museum is designed by Canadian Moriyana & Teshima Architects, and tells the story of the founding of the country. Located next to the historic Union House on the Dubai waterfront, the museum honours the 1971 signing of the document that created
the UAE and celebrates the culture and the history of its people. The Etihad Museum is one of the first contemporary museums of its kind in Dubai. The dramatic entrance pavilion rests lightly upon a reflecting pool and plaza, its undulating parabolic curves representing the parchment upon which the unification agreement was written and its tapering golden columns representing the pens with which the document was signed.
One of my most favorite building in the UAE. Image taken Nov 2018. Modern, stylish, many cool angles and the most amazing underground museum features and interior design. In case You never been there You honestly have to go and see it!
