Description
Besides that churches are used as places for religious worship it is very common that classical music is played in these premises due to the unique acoustic these large halls offer. Here we are during a break of an audio recording for an ensemble. A violin placed next to a bow at a bench. This image goes back to my early days of photography around 1998/99 and of course it was captured on black and white film, hand developed by myself in my parents cellar which I transformed into a dark room. Digital Cameras were unknown territory back then. However this image always reminds on my humble beginnings as a photographer and more so on the hard work and long, late hours spent in the dark room. Good old days.
