Bvlgari Resort Dubai is a shimmering jewel set on a seahorse-shaped island in Jumeira Bay, brings Mediterranean style to the Middle East. Surrounded by ocean views and home to the first Bvlgari Yacht Club & Marina, its nautical spirit inspires the Resort’s design, making it an oasis of luxury minutes from the mainland.

ABB has supplied the Bvlgari Resort Hotel & Residences with various automated building products and solutions that control lighting, air conditioning, door entry and much more. These quality products and systems are for safe electrical distribution and ranks among the broadest of the sector. The wide range of cabinets are the right place for all electrical components which need to be installed easily and for a safe operation. ABB access control can be integrated with KNX installations and is perfectly adaptable not only to the needs of hotel industry operators, but also to the hospitality sector in general (hotel apartment, B&Bs, holiday apartments, tourist farm accommodations and resorts).

Scope of Work

During a one day shoot it was required as per ABB corporate standard to capture some captivating lifestyle shots of the iconic resort interior and aesthetically integrate the installed ABB – Millenium range of switch products.

Challenges

As for any high profile interior photo shoot it is best practice to do a recce of the complete property to finalize all the locations with dedicated shot list and its timely order for the day of shoot. Finding the best locations in terms of daylight, rooms or villas with ideal layouts to achieve the ultimate experience for hospitality and ABB products integration alike. The only challenge we faced was the availability (due to peak season bookings) of our shortlisted rooms and premium villas for the same day of shoot. Otherwise we received fantastic support from the hotel and it was fantastic day documenting stylish rooms.
