The Dubai International Motor Show is the largest international automotive event across the Middle East and North Africa. Project Notes
The two day weekend part of DIMS is when all kinds of people come in from all over the place. Hundreds of tuned cars were lined up outside the plaza and thousands of visitors checking whats under the hood. DJ playing cool music, spectators lining up for the drifting experience which ran non-stop. The indoor halls are so vast and wide open, filled with people and amazing cars that I needed a really tall ladder and someone holding it for me to be able to get the right perspective representing the scale of the show as well the massive attendance. Overall great fun for the whole family.
From our perspective it was important to document all essential elements of the show but more so that mainly I focused on the hero images which will represent DIMS for the next two years. You know the TOP 100 images that will be used over and over again and they tell the story in a very unique and diversified way to transfer the emotional experience. Such content is meant to go viral and attracts more audience, exhibitor partners and sponsors alike.
