The Journey of Content
introduction
The region’s leading event for broadcast, satellite & content – CABSAT have launched CABSAT virtual, the first ever virtual event for the broadcast, satellite and content communities for Middle East & North Africa – unifying the entire journey, from content creation to production to distribution.
With the challenges brought about this year, this was a unique opportunity to re-connect with the full ecosystem, meet influential buyers, get in direct contact with decision makers and pitch your business from wherever you are in the world.
Scope of Work
Since 2014, we have been working with the CABSAT team for their photography & video requirements. This year’s edition aimed to provide an event that will allow the community to share new ideas, solutions, innovations and insights for the future.
For CABSAT, this year, they have decided to shift the event into a 2-day virtual conference for the broadcast, satellite and content community. Instead of the usual requirements onsite, we supported them with a full production level green screen recording @ In5 Studios for all their keynotes, panel discussions including the complete post production services therefore which were broadcasted thru the CABSAT.virtual platform last Nov. 9 – 10, 2020.
Personal NOTES
There is no question that transitioning from a face to face event environment to a complete virtual format has its pros and cons. But during these difficult Covid-19 times there is simply no other way other than to engage virtually with the industry as a whole.
We embrace challenges and our team is extremely proud to be part of the only digital conference which Dubai World Trade Center hosted so far.
In5 was so kind to provide us with an excellent studio space and especially for the panel discussions due the required social distancing => shooting space and a large green screen area is what was really needed. Our client even brought their carpet for a great foreground base.
After 4x days of filming the pressure was full on our editor who needed to turn around a 2x day conference, like 35+ clips (+ background replacement,…) within two weeks until the show goes live.
After all we have a really cool BTS video as a great memory for all the hard work put into this project during these tough times. Thanks to everyone involved and who supported this project!
WELL DONE!
